EN 10083-1 Grade 34CrNiMo6 quenched and tempered (+QT)

EN 10083-1 Grade 34CrNiMo6 is suitable for high loaded parts (also large forged parts) with high heat-treatment sections and favorable toughness properties in aircraft and heavy-vehicle construction, machine engineering (e.g. propeller shafts, connecting rods, transmission shafts). Lowest working temperature -40 °C.As a bright steel product it is used in the form of bars, bright, straight, in different conditions (see DIN EN 10277).

EN 10083-1 Grade 42CrMoS4 surface hardened

EN 10083-1 Grade 42CrMoS4 alloy steel grade with high strength, toughness and hardenability. The addition of sulfur improves machinability but may slightly reduce overall mechanical properties compared to grades without sulfur. It is commonly used in applications that require excellent mechanical properties, such as gears, shafts, and other components subjected to high stress and wear.
