Where this plate fits
For a bucket liner, send the old part thickness, the replacement drawing and where the wear occurs. A bent liner and a flat bolt-on liner can have different fabrication requirements, even when both call for NM400.
Before requesting a quote
Send the finished dimensions and hole layout for cut parts. If bending is planned, give the bend direction and radius so the mill recommendations can be checked for the actual plate.

Should a thicker liner be ordered just because the original wore through?
Check the available clearance, fasteners, weight and wear pattern first. Have the equipment owner approve a change in thickness.
